App Description & Functionality

Core service

  • MelodyShare transforms Apple Music listening data into shareable receipt-style images
  • Provides music recommendations based on listening history
  • Offers customizable themes and sharing capabilities

Required services

  • Apple Music subscription — Required for full functionality
  • iOS device — Requires iOS 18.0 or later
  • Internet connection — Required for music service integration

Acceptable Use

Permitted uses

  • Generate receipts from personal music listening data
  • Share receipts on social media and messaging platforms
  • Use app features for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Save receipts to personal photo library

Prohibited uses

  • Commercial use — No commercial exploitation of app or generated content
  • Data mining — No automated data collection or scraping
  • Reverse engineering — No decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering
  • Unauthorized access — No attempts to access app systems or other users' data
  • Service interference — No actions that disrupt app functionality

Content & Intellectual Property

User-generated content

  • Users retain ownership of their generated receipts
  • Users grant limited license to display and share their content
  • Users responsible for content they create and share

App intellectual property

  • MelodyShare app, design, and code are protected by copyright
  • App name, logo, and branding are trademarks
  • Users may not copy, modify, or distribute app content

Third-party content

  • Apple Music content subject to Apple's terms
  • Deezer content subject to Deezer's terms
  • Users must comply with music service terms

Limitations & Disclaimers

Service limitations

  • App requires Apple Music subscription
  • Functionality limited to supported music services
  • No guarantee of specific features or performance

Disclaimers

  • App provided without warranties of any kind
  • No guarantee of accuracy or completeness
  • Users use app at their own risk

Limitation of liability

  • App developers not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • Maximum liability limited to amount paid for app (if any)
  • No liability for data loss or service interruptions

Third-Party Services
